REGARDING WALL THICKNESS: As for all our lintels, each designation (eg. 'DL6') is available in a range of widths to suit different thickness walls, but they all have the SAME load capacity. Simply suffix the lintel with your wall, eg: DL6-100/140. View the PDF files for details.

DL LINTELS
(Light & Standard Duty)

DL lintels provide a neat solution to supporting double brick or block openings, they are easy to course through and can be supplied without the plaster key on the underside if the soffit is to be visible through the opening.

DC LINTELS
(Medium Duty)

For similar applications to the DL lintels, but can carry heavier loads and handle longer spans, thanks to the flange on top.
The flange courses in with standard brick or blockwork.

DB LINTELS
(Light-Heavy Duty)

Box lintels are strong and stable, resisting twisting, and so are typically easier to install than DL or DC lintels.
Plaster key can be provided on the inside as well to assist dry lining.

EB Lintels
(Medium Duty)

EB lintels are simple box lintels with extra-wide plaster key fitted. This enables them to support the roof in low eaves situations immediately above an opening, but with additional allowance for dry-lining over the cavity.
